Well, I managed to get in one of my Web splurges, and of course I visisted 
3D Realms' page, where I discovered your news.
  First, KMFDM... I HAVE heard of them, but I have no idea what style of 
music they play.  Are they punk, metal... what?  Anyhow, I would have 
preferred The Tea Party or Prodigy, but I'll reserve judgement on KMFDM until 
I can hear a sample of their game music.  An MP3 would be nice!
  Second... happy [belated] birthday!  So, how many grey hairs on your head?  
:-)  Sorry, but since I can still truthfully be called a teen, I'm required 
to say things like that.  Of course, your birthday probably pales compared to 
the horror John Romero must have experienced on his 30th.
  Finally, what's up with 3D Realms' obsession with reflective, marble 
floors?  Every single 3DR game for which there's been screenshots, from 
Shadow Warrior on, has had a marble floor.  It looks great and everything, 
but it seems to pervade 3DR's work.
PS  I'm sure, as a musician of sorts, you must be in mourning now.  If not, 
I'll tell you why: Michael Hutchence (lead for INXS) is dead.  He hung 
himself recently.  He was one of the few that you could really miss - not 
like Marilyn Manson (whose death will probably be cause for champagne among 
some circles) or some other musician of lesser repute.
