'Trap door' says it all. To load it, you have to pull the hammer to
half-cock, flip a lever forward and in the same motion lift the 'trap
door' at the breach of the rifle barrel. Upon opening, it ejects a shell,
if there is one, and it's ready to reload. .45 caliber, 300g lead bullet
with 70 grains of black powder behind it. Custer had them at the Little
Big Horn and look where they got him. Of course the bears won't be
shooting back. :o)
