Hi Ryan, as you were just saying about Re: choices in America....
RB> RW> You want to chance something you have two choices (there's that word
RB> RW> again). You can do it within the system and law or you can do it
RB> RW> outside both.

RB> Yes, and as anyone who attempts change through the system finds

I guess it depends upon your definition of 'the system'.
RB> Every progressive change in history has been

Done through the First Amendment and the ballot box.
RB> to the end of the Vietnam War,
Hmmmmm, the right of free speech via protest of a unpopular war.
RB> to the Civil Rights Movement.
Again, through protests and the ballot box.
RB> Those non-radical reformers are the liberals that are

RB> correctness and suing everyone so the state seal doesn't mention
RB> "god" ... in other words, totally benign.
And, in general, none of those things you mentioned were outside 'the
system'. They were all accomplished (although some individual laws
were broken by individual protestors) in accordance with the
Constitutition and its BoR.
This thread, however, has strayed from laws and law enforcement. I
extend an invitation to you to join us over on the CIVLIB echo.
