NOT! The sewer system in Mexico practically runs down the street. Drinking
any water there, short of bottled and even that's questionable, will make
you sick. If you have a problem with jalapenos, I suggest drinking beer.
At least it may have enough alcohol in it to kill whatever is in it.

Drinking a shot of Tequila with a beer chaser would be even better.
