Schuey wants dry race!

(28-Oct-98) - Michael Schumacher has surprised pundits by claiming he would
prefer dry conditions for this weekend's championship deciding Japan Grand
Prix.

The double world champion who is widely acknowledged as the master of wet
conditions, being almost untouchable in the rain, said in an interview with
Italian Magazine Autosprint: " I think we can go better in a dry
race."

Experts believe that Goodyear have an advantage in the wet, with
Bridgestone wet tyres suffering blistering problems, making Schumacher's
statement even more incredulous.

Sources also suggest that Goodyear may have found as much as four seconds a
lap in their new wet tyre.
