RW> If our court house is a designated 'no firearms' building, which it is, RW> no licensed to carry person would dare take it in with them. I've been RW> in the court house and see no metal detectors. That doesn't mean the RW> deputies who run court house security don't have them in their RW> 'sticks'... That reminds me of the time I took a .45 to the airport for my trip to (UGH!) Florida. I told the Southwest gal that I had a gun in a suitcase (What was I thinking?) and was told that it wouldn't be loaded on the plane. After several bouts with the Jefferson Parish sheriff's dudes and the suits working for TSA, which I lost, I finally gave up. I had to call a friend to come get the suitcase with the gun, else I would have missed my flight. I was very lucky I could get SW to do that much for me and I know that gal stuck her neck way out for me. Regards, Roger ... I wish scripts would do what I think I tell them --- D'Bridge 3.31* Origin: NCS BBS (1:3828/7) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/201 331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/0 187 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 5030/1256 @PATH: 3828/7 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
