Tuero to lose seat?

(28-Oct-98) - Esteban Tuero could lose his seat at Minardi as a result of
the Argentinean Grand Prix being dropped from the calendar.

Sources suggest that the young Argentinean needs to find œ1.5 million to
secure his seat with the Italian team - money that will be hard to find
with no home race for his current sponsors.

Talks are underway to save both the race and Tuero's seat next year.
Argentinean president Carlo Menem has pledged his commitment to helping the
race back onto the calendar. He is said to have met F1 boss Bernie
Ecclestone on his visit to the UK this week.
