My philosophy is "moderation in all things... INCLUDING moderation!"
It's likewise unhealthy to practice too much self-denial, as it is to
practice too much self-indulgence. . .
"moderation" levels vary person to person and even to different times in
each person's life!
eg. I drink moderately, but, as an ex-smoker with my brain altered by
nicotine addiction, my moderate level of tobacco is Zero!
And, with the dangers involved with it, my moderation level for heroin
is likewise Zero (except when prescribed by a doctor for pain/etc.)
For foods, I have varying degrees of moderation. . .
Because of taste choice, my moderation level for liver is Zero
My moderation level for beef steak/roast is somewhat higher.
My moderation level for doughnuts includes the occasional small binge!
(takes the edge off my binge needs!)
Because I care,
