Only another idea about it. I think that a special kind of defragmentation is
not mentioned. Today's disk have several diffenrent media zones, which meanes
at some location's disk read/writes are faster. What if a defragmentation
utility can figure out what files are used most and place that files on the
fast part of a disk (or better volume, think of stripping) ? I think that can
improv performance, since that different are huge on larger disk (4-9 GB).
