That wasn't difficult.
BF> The unspecified number, is that to your BBS or fax?
It used to be the number I used for my dial-up connection to the Internet
and for occasional faxes but I've had it disconnected.
BF> There where one more Steven Horn in Canada.
That's "There was one more ..." But we are talking about persons
with listed telephone numbers and some of my namesakes may not have listed
themselves.

Some people like Win98SE and NT is fine as long as you don't need USB. And
we have a lot of non-techie users here who have never seen the need to
upgrade their Operating systems.

You can be a forerunner without opting for Microsoft's "latest and
greatest". I just sent back a copy of XP Pro because I decided to
stick with Win2K
BF> Or is it that expensive for you?
Relative to what I would expect that it cost you, probably not all that
expensive. But you either have to want to upgrade or need to do it.
BF> How much do you have to pay for a new "normal" computer?
BF> Over here you can get one for about 6.000 SEK and one $ is about 9

BF> hasn't got it, it's very expensive of course.
$US660 translates into $CAN900 and one should be able to get an entry-level
computer for that or less. However, one would normally expect to pay
around $CAN1400 for a working computer with a decent amount of RAM and
separate video and sound cards. That would be 7,947 SEK.
BF> And finally, I have seen many . What does that mean? Does it
BF> mean Gee?
Try "grin". It's an alternative to using the smiley, :-)
Take care,
