 None of these websites are owned or paid for by Fidonet, some are just old
 efforts to provide information on the web about Fidonet. When their
 maintainers involvement with Fidonet deminished, so did their attention to
 their Fidonet info sites.

 This is just the easy approach, for some sites the history is more
 involved.
