I wanted to ask you if you'd allow me to start a charity stitching group in 
this echo.  I've spoken to Ann McReary and am hoping to organize a stitching
group to make up some dolls to distribute to homeless and battered women 
shelters in the US and in Canada.  I'm hoping to become the central clearing
house for the finished dolls and I will also distribute the patterns to make
the dolls to all who would be interested in joining.  I have patterns for 
a cross stitched pocket doll and a cross stitched topsy-turvy doll that I'll
be offering for those who cross stitch and I'll also provide patterns for a
knitted and a crocheted doll for those who don't cross stitch but also want
to participate.  I'll send you a copy of the original note I sent to Ann.
Please let me know if I can organize a group though this echo, I'm hoping to 
make a lot of children happy with these dolls.  Please let me know if you'd
be willing to allow me to start a stitching group with a worthy cause.
