variable area, where the BIOS records the information about your systems
current configuration, such as the current cursor position, the current value
of the timer tick, the current positions of the floppy and hard drive heads,
etc. There's no code there, unless the BIOS dynamically creates temporary
routines.
The video BIOS code itself is usually at C000:0000-C800:0000, and the ROM
BIOS is usually at F000:0000.
