Villeneuve gives Zhuhai thumbs-up

(24-Oct-98) - World Champion Jacques Villeneuve has come away from several
laps of China's new Zhuhai circuit cautiously optimistic.

The Williams driver completed three laps in a two-seater Renault Spider
Sport at the circuit due to host the first Chinese Grand Prix next year.

"It's good, wide enough and has good breaking zones," said
Villeneuve. "However, it lacks high speed corners."

He compared the circuit to the new Austrian A-1Ring saying that he felt
that always gave good races.
