Well here is something right out of the movies, a few months ago this
green/teal 1991 Firebird Formula (stolen) was speeding down the main
road during rush hour (this car is capable of speeds in excess of
180mph) he had so much time in from of the cops that he STOPED at a
stop sign to make a right turn, 5 patrol cars followed, the next time
my friend saw this car it came out accross the street (the road is
double laned with median and no cross overs) somewher alogn the line
the firebird drove stright accross the median, anyway, he had 9 cars
after him this time, including several of the larger slower suburbans.
He still how ever, was ahead of the police, now then, he made his
mistake, he headed for the twin tunnels that connect one city to the
other, he made it through the tunnels but as soon as he came out, it
was grid locked and the police caught him. This was a high speed chase
and if one of the cars including the police had crashed they could have
ruptured the walls of the underwater tunnel, crashed into other cars,
or hit someone crossing the street when they were driving through the
appartment complex. if the police slowed down i'm sure the firebird
would have too. luckly no one was hurt.
