Also, I thought for the longest time I'd screwed the rear end after going off 
a curb with it floored (couldn't go up hills in reverse anymore).  Found out 
otherwise when the tranny got a little overheated and just flat out wouldn't 
move in reverse (even though you could hear the "whine" of the gears in it)
