Even as a joke.... postal workers aren't government employees anymore, at
least not in the classical sense. And I don't think that there is a drop in
mail volume... a drop in the rate of increase perhaps, but I'm sure getting
more than ever. Maybe a drop in 1st Class volume as those of us who get
stuck with the highest rates because we don't qualify for a volume discount
figure out e-mail is cheaper. But I'd be surprised iff total volume is
down.
