No, on this one the mic is in the very bottom of the radio just above
the hinge for the flip.  There is a little hole for the mic.
I sorta thought that someone here would or remember how to open one
up or have a manual but so far no luck.  Yours has been the only
response so far.
I remember only opening up one of them when I was working for a
service shop, but it seems to me like there was a special tool
needed.  I don't remember for certain.
Now the phone has suddenly started working again, & I didn't do a thing!
(I have a feeling that I will see this problem again).
