HI Val,
Well it is taking me a couple days to catch up here again.... been a
bit under the weather the last couple of days... Had a colonoscopy this
morning and am still a bit out of sorts .. but enough of that.
-> I'm embarrassed I have so many but I think I got most of them from
you. -> Also many are mixtures that I have made myself. I have several
different -> kinds of glitter, everything from very fine to large and
chunky.
I have not done to much mixing of eps as of right now... but I have the
recipes for a number of mixtures... I will soon have a real good idea
of just what I have here as I am working up a sheet with all the colors
on it so I can put it on my web page... Of course this web page is not
yet on line... I hope to have the web page ready in the next couple of
weeks if all goes well... I got a new scanner last week so that has been
the biggest help to getting my web page going. In the meantime I am
stamping away and doing as much pergamano as possible during the good
times. I also may have a person who wants to purchase some of the
pergamano that I am doing... time will tell on that though.
-> I usually use vertigre embossing powders on my sea grass, as this green
-> puff has a similar look I can't wait to try it for the sea grass. I think
-> it will be nice. Of course, you never know how somethings will look until
-> you actually try them.
The more of the vertigre I use the more and more I love it. I believe I
will be using it as the primary green I use in my Christmas cards this
year. I have been trying it out on samples I am working up and I like
the subtle tones it sets.
I definitely am liking what I see so far with the puff ups. I have to
put a lot of thought though as to the best ways to use this product...
Also just so you know some other new embossing powders are coming out at
the beginning of the year and they look very exciting to me... One is
an "Ultra Gloss" and the other is "Detail" the ultra is as its name
implies. Very high Gloss. The Detail is a very ultra fine embossing
powder that will be great for fine details in compositions. I can
hardly wait to sample these goodies and play with them... Now does
that excite you!!!???
-> I used the new Cinnamon Spice and I LOVE it. Wow does it emboss pretty.
-> I can see I'll be using lots of it.
I have not even had the opportunity to try it yet! The Cinnamon, Dragon
Red, Black Lame and the Pewter are all calling to me to try them right
away.
-> Sounds wonderful. I'll be giving it a try soon I hope.
I use a lot of the crystal glitters as the effect is so often just the
right touch of color and glow!
Well I am hoping that the ole body will hold up here long enough to
finish the mail today before I lay back down ... needless to say
not to much crafting of any kind today... maybe tomorrow.
-> Take care my friend!
You too!!
Julia
