RW> Nahhh. They're such morons that they can't even figure out how to report
RW> your rating.

A lot of sites I go to offer a free credit report, but I don't take them up
on the offer. I already know what it is.

RW> I was on Roadrunner and they had priced themselves out of the market, so
RW> I switched to AT&T. That was a big mistake because they insisted that I
RW> must have a landline to do that. Now days, Roadrunner is a penny less per
RW> month than AT&T's U-verse, and 1 Mhz faster.

I noticed all three of their plans say they come with a HD-ready DVR. That
makes me think that equipment will be extinct by the time it gets here. I
also think the landline requirement was to attach it to the receiver in
case you wanted to order something on a Pay-Per-View channel. I could be
wrong.

RW> AT&T operates an accounts receivable office in Illinois. Landline
RW> payments go to one PO Box and U-verse payments go to another PO Box.

I had bundled the lamdline, the cell phone and the I'net service back in
May of last year and if I still mailed the payments in, they would go to
Atlanta.

RW> Neither department knows that the other exists and rather than post
RW> payments to the proper accounts, they post them to the account for which
RW> the PO Box received it. Meanwhile, the other PO Box department records a
RW> non-payment and bills you accordingly. After a while it gets to be very
RW> confusing, so much so that they can't keep their records straight.

Someone will wise up about that I'm sure, but do you add a notation on your check?

RW> Nahhh, I want 'them' to suffer.

LOL!

RW> I'm too busy to reconcile payments made to the account, but I do keep
RW> track of it.

All the better for you and they're probably whining about it.

Roger
