Semantics are interesting. *His* echo? IMO, the echo is a product of
the contributions by the people involved in the echo, and that's where
I have a problem with Fido moderation.

A moderator doesn't own an echo, he or she is a representative of the
collective tasked with keeping the collective aligned with the topic.
If they can't do that, they don't have the backing of the collective
and it's time for someone else to take on the role.
