Just use two pairs.
With no hubs you must cross the wire so the send an receive pairs are 
confronted. So it gives you:
         PC1        PC2
Pair 1   1          3
         2          6
Pair 2   3          1
         6          2
The numbers represent the pin number in the RJ45 plug.
