I was aware that there were approved procedures for ferrying a 4 engine jet
aircraft with only 3 operating engines.  I believe it was on this echo a 
while ago that we discussed the takeoff loss of one where there appeared to 
be some confusion on the proper procedure.  But I was surprised when someone 
posted on here that they saw a prop job firing up the fourth engine during a 
three engine takeoff - wonder is that was approved.
