If this is a brand new setup and never had fish in the tank before, I would
suggest 6 -10 until the tank is biologically sound(algae bloom) sound. after
that you may add a few more everyweek until you reach as many inches of fish
as gallons of water. For an example, you have a 29 gallon tank so yyou should
not put more thaan 29 inches of fish in the tank.
