New problems though. The SEEN-BY and PATH lines are stripped during a Copy action, which is probably not suitable to my purposes, and also... Wilfried Brinkmann's PATCH.EXE from ARTFIX09.ZIP [*] refuses to apply Y2K patches to NETMGR.EXE (under WinXP), saying the file sizes are different, even after decompressing with PKLITE. When I comment-out the SIZE line from NETMGR.PSC, it complains it can't seek to offset 0x238E3 (145635) even though the file size is 180214 bytes. I just tried it on my Win98 box and had the same problem. A nodelist + web search for Mr Brinkmann seems to lead nowhere. :-( [*] http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/tobi/projects/artfix.html -- mail{at}ozzmosis.com --- timEd/FreeBSD 1.11.b1* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (3:633/267) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/267 |
