Dear Anne,
WEll i went to a ladies retreat and took that lace along. Sure enough, i
ran out of thread. I had white and another piece [short] of starter edging
with me, so i did the hook on row across it. I had to decide what it would
be long enough for before i started the second row, so i desided to make a
collar. I will have to weave stitch the ends with regular needle and thread
because they are not properly finished, but otherwise it is going well.
OUr move to the South is begining to hang over my head. OH, do i ever
hate to migrate! We were fortunate enough to get a satisfactory house
sitter. God willing, he will take good care of this place. The leaves have
turned here [Gorgous!!!!!] but have not fallen enough yet so that we can
start picking up roadside bags of leaves to mulch the gardens. Much of the
close down work is done, but a large part of it awaits the killing frost.
We have to make 3 trips to my lord's medical care next month. The
Hospital is 100 miles away. Two of them are overnight trips, that is he has
appts. on two sucessive days so we stay over. I had better have some
portable crafts with me or i will go loopy.
     Shalom, ll
