Well it doesn't do that here so you must have some kind of unique situation
there. Perhaps you could provide a little more to go on. Perhaps a copy of
SEAL.INI? Or maybe your SQUISH.CFG?

Perhaps you have your dupe area and bad area defined after the echoareas.
It has been noted in here that SEAL takes total control of that section of
SQUISH.CFG (by design) so it would not be surprising that SEAL would remove
those lines if they did indeed appear after an EchoArea line. In fact, I
might be mistaken, but I think either the docs or the whatsnew file states
that you should not have anything you want to keep after the echoarea
lines.
