 Do you have any AA groups near you?..or can you find the number in the
 phone book to just call and talk to someone..just the fact that there
 are others near you that have the same problem may be of help to you..
 Perhaps you could get to a meeting..The people there are the same as the
 people on this echo, except they are close to where you live..This is 
 only a suggestion, of course..but it could help with support..

 Hmm..where to start..I have been hanging around with AA people for over
 15 years..my late husband was a member of AA for just about 7 years before
 he died...sober... My mother was an alcoholic. She died still drinking..
 my brother is in AA..I have one son that has a drinking problem..and one
 that has a drug problem...so...I have had experience with both the active
 drinker and the sober AA member..I don't have a drinking or drug problem,
 but that just luck..I have been a sponcer, am a member of a support group
 for both AA and CoDA..I do some counseling..and work with SIA people..
 I am a mother and a grandmother...I am also the moderator of this echo..
 Soooo...now you know a bit about me..I can only offer you advice but
 others here on this echo have been through the same things you are going
 through now...they can give you the real stories..and what they went
 through to get where they are now...I do know one thing..they had to work
 hard and fight days like you describe above to stay sober..but it can be
 done..because many here have done it..
 We are all here to help when someone reaches out...
