I got mine for free yesterday.  I told the sales clerk (thanks to
someone on the internet who told me about this) that my name was already
in the store's database.  And, I said, doesn't that entitle me to a free
copy of the catalog?  Yes it did and he punched up the name and gave it
to me.
I would like to point out that he was not going to ask me if my name was
already in the computer (I had to tell him about it.)
