  Yes, please. This particular side-thread of the Font CD thread
has wandered about as far off-topic as possible. I have been try-
ing to allow a bit of leeway in the posts and keep this an echo
where we can all be friends united by an appreciation of "Ensem-
ble" and a desire to help each other and anyone else interested
in "Ensemble" to receive full benefit from using it.
  I haven't minded brief little off-topic chats as they usually
tend to fill out our impressions of each other & personalize our
interchanges. I'm sure that my image and perception of all of you
is probably minimally correct but I learn a little bit more each
time that I read a personal anecdote, etc.
  Basically, I am trying to discourage drawn-out off-topic threads
so that we concentrate on the topic and each other. Try to ask
yourself: "Is my post/reply likely to cause an off-topic thread
of little interest to anyone besides myself and `the opposition'?"
Leave the semantics/OS/whatever debates to an appropriate echo or
to NETmail.
