The comments in the SMAPI code seemed to indicate it was difficult.  I just
thought it may not be worthwhile given that nothing bar Msged actually uses
that mode, and consequently haven't bothered trying to fix it until I knew
what the situation was.  :-)

You can thank Husky's own Oliver Grimm for doing most of the work porting
timEd to UNIX.  Truly amazing stuff.  I just fixed a few bugs.  ;-)
