Oh, I would say that the only sounds that are imagined are the ones that you wilfully imagine. I am not at all saying that head noises are not real; I agree that they are real. I would also say that hallucinations are "real," in that you perceive them involuntarily, and they are not caused (usually) by external stimuli. > BM> hearing an external noise.
