Three six cylinder choices, 80hp w/carter 1bbl., 125hp w/holley 1bbl, and a
138hp model that MIGHT have an aluminum block. COuld be interesting. I can
think of lots worse cars to be stuck with.
(a v8 was optional in the chassis, its got posibilities. If you know
what I mean)

Well... Don't drive it like you do your truck. It may last a good long time
with tender foot driving, but drive it like *WE* tend to drive, the engine
might let you know different. Check it out thouroughly as with any used
vehicle purchase. One thing I would do before purchase is go visit the local
Napa store and see if tie rods, brake drums/discs, idler arms, pitman arms
are still available for this car.

Well, how much to get your truck back into respectable running order?

Ouch. But being in Texas, you've definately got better pickin's than us folk
stuck in the salt...err, snow belt. =-)
Better run this past Elvis and the gang to.
Alex.
