Half a dozen or so. I'll answer this one first, as K&R Investigations'
phone number is in the 801 area code, which according to the North
American Numbering Plan ( www.nanpa.com ) is in Utah, with Salt Lake
City right in the hey-diddle-diddle!

I think I can make a guess as to who or what in Utah would (a) have
an interest in genealogy, and (b) have an extensive store of personal
information in its databases to flog via a number of fronts to those
willing to pay for it. I might be wrong, of course. The html chase
continues.

"K&R Investigations ... years of experience and access to a wide
number of private databases ..." Hmmm.

Here's another one for the collection: "Employee Confirmation"
http://www.employeeconfirmation.com/ - a division of K&R Investigations.
Their specialty is doing background checks on potential employees, using
much the same data as the other fronts.
