You know it's a bad show when one of the best matches features Trish Stratus. Even though Trish is the most improved wrestler in 2002, usually the women's matches are not among the best ones on the card. They're improving, though, and the guys seem to be going downhill, so maybe one day, they'll be the matches to watch for. Someone with influence in the WWE is certainly reading this newsgroup. Two weeks after we started discussing the dissapearance of tag ropes, they were suddenly back--and as if they had never been gone. A week or so ago, we commented that usually when Kane triggers his flash pots before the match, he's going to lose or maybe get beat down after the match. Today, when he triggered them, my partner said, "Well, they're going to lose the belts," and I said, "Nah. They've been reading the newsgroup and know we've figured that out, so they're going to double cross us." Rock-Goldberg went pretty much as expected, although I was surprised that Goldberg gave Rock the Rock Bottom--and so early in the match. I think that it can be safely said that any match with HHH will achieve some degree of suckiness; maybe if he went up against Jericho in a heel vs. heel match, Chris might be able to carry him to a three-star match. At least they had the sense to put Scotty Steiner on Heat instead of the PPV. When are they going to release him??? --Michelle -- Never play strip tarot. --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at Swills (1:229/3000.1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 229/3000 123/500 106/1 379/1 633/267 |
