I bought a Gigabyte motherboard, 2.4 GHz Celeron, 512 Mb RAM, 80 GB HDD and
ATX case last Monday for about $500. The rest of the parts (monitor,
CD-ROM drives, etc) I had already. Put it all together myself with no real
hassles. Very nice machine and amazingly inexpensive.

Strange. I was under the impression most recent motherboards had onboard
ethernet. The socket is normally next to the USB ports on the back.
