There was a time when banks respected their customers. I was almost always
greeted at the door by a bank employee. "Good day, Mr Witt."  I still get
a greeting at the door, but they don't know my name now. BTW, I wouldn't
know where to hide my money if it weren't for banks and credit unions.
Mattress's and tin cans leave a lot to be desired, IMO.
