subject: Locking Windows

BL> David bid $19. Now you bid $15. Any advance on fifteen?

DD> maybe he visits different shops to me...

I am about to discover the truth. I bought my yumcha computer on
Friday, and when I mwentioned Linux, the poor man panicked and sold
me a "better" motherboard for $10 extra. "What a bargain!" thinks
Bob. For $10 I got a Gigabyte board instead of Asrock with shared
video memory, plus a *real* modem and a GeForce 64M video board.
"Hoop-do-do!" says I, but when I tried to plug in the ethernet cable
there was a severe lack of hole.

The bastard has shortchanged me one network board. I hope he's the
one who sells John his $15 boards.

... [later]

Even better! He sold me a network card for ten bucks. And it works,
too. Now all I have to figure out what a network is.

I thought all you had to do was connect the cable and bugger around
in Windows for a while, but it keeps asking me for a NT Domain. I'm
buggered if I know... I've never even been to the Northern Territory.

Regards,
Bob
