The way adept brings nodes on line is truly beatiful, you just say adept
/nodes 4, if node 3 is not responding, it will automatically be placed out of
service, leaving nodes 1,2,& 4 to answer the phones. If you know you have a
problem with node 3 (let's say you sent your modem away for repairs for that
node and you don't have a temp to plug in plac of it) you just say adept
/nodes 4 /noinit 3, this will bring all your nodes online but not even
attempt
to init node 3 as per your instructions, why should you have to reconfigure
adept if a comm port is out of action? You can repaeat the /noinit as many
times as you like on the command line, example, adept /nodes 4 /noinit 3
/noinit 4 will bring up 4 nodes with nodes 3 and 4 out of action. Could it be
any simpler ??
