I have an XT & a 386 connected this way using a Lantastic network - it
utilises a pair of Lantastic branded (Artisoft) network cards that use this
type of connection - they've been chugging away for around 12 years (both
machines originally powered the BBS at some stage). Neither are currently
wired to the XP machine but I really should get around to it one day. No
bloody idea how to work out that kind of networking nightmare though & I see
no real reason to swap the two older machines off Lantasic... any ideas
anyone ?

cheers,

Lance
