Go to the ftp.pitt.edu chess site and download SAN_KIT.ZIP.  It is 
Steven Edwards' SAN package for PGN, in a regular PKZip archive for 
those who don't have the TAR/GZIP extractors. 
 
OR, since you should already have the source to Crafty, just look at 
the EPD files in it, basically the same thing with some refinements.
