subject: Network!

Hi John,
I bought a crossover cable from Dickie Smith's, and the
network sprang to life like magic, little lights on the back and all.

Of course nothing worked, but after the usual hoo-hah with Windows,
trying to translate what-the-hell they mean by that and why-the-fuck
can't I see any drives... I've got it working!

 Jeeze, How good is this?

In fact, I'll have to rethink how I'll manage backups and stuff.

 Whoopee!

Regards,
Bob
