You're splitting hairs, and mis-quoting. Mystic does have the mailer
built-in as part of the system that handles internet services, and
Synchronet has binkit/ticket/freqit, all run as services within the BBS
package.

My comment was that I haven't installed Synchronet from scratch and can't
confirm whether binkit and friends installs "out of the box".

Regardless, both packages are integral to their BBS platform, use the same
configuration tools and configuration files, and certainly don't require
installing an external package and getting the two to talk to each other -
which, I think was your original point.

It's miles from the old days of setting up a BBS, a mailer, an areafix
manager, file manager, a FREQ tool and a tosser, and trying to get all of
them talking to each other - like in the "good" old days. *That* was my
point.
