Mercedes exclusively supplies McLaren

(7-Oct-98) - Mercedes will continue to be technology partner of the McLaren
team until the end of the year 2002. That was confirmed this week by
Daimler Benz board member Jurgen Hubbert last week at the Paris motorshow.
The two companies already had a contract until 2002 but Mercedes confirmed
to exclusive supply the British team after rumours that it might supply
another team.

McLaren, Mercedes and major sponsor West are talking about an extension of
the current sponsorship deals.
