I couldn't find this, but video_init() calls setcolor(7) then calls
cls(), which also calls setcolor(7), so I removed the one from
video_init().  Maybe this is what you're refering to?

Incidentally, did you end up doing any more work on timEd since the
version you sent to Gerrit Kuehn (who subsequently sent it to me)?  The
file he sent me is at:
