Hello Bj”rn! Jul 02 10:16 03, Bj”rn Forsstr”m wrote to Roger Nelson: BF> 300 cm= 3m and that isn't much for a pine. So, in feet, the pine trees surrounding me are all over 100 feet tall. BF> Pity you didn't have any picture. I'm modest. (-: BF> Sound to me that you have a full-time job to repair your house. Only during hurricane season, where all in this area and along the eastern and Gulf coast have to be prepared. BF> How do you have time to do any "serious" work? Repairing a damaged structure is serious work. BF> I certainly wouldn't change with you. Nor I would you. I'm alergic to cold weather and too old now to adapt to it. BF> The worst thing that can happend here is a realy heavy blizzard with BF> 50 cm snow and a power-failure. We have lots of power failures here and not all are weather-related. Some repairmen came over to me the other day when I had reported to the office about a fuse that kept popping from its contact (sounds just like a shotgun blast) on the power line and disrupting power to the only neighbor I have across the street. They told me that it was either squirrels or snakes coming in contact with the power line. I had to wonder, when they said that, if I had DUMB stamped across my forehead. BF> Then we arn't almost able to get outside and then it's good to have a 4 WD BF> Chevy S10. I sometimes wish I had one of those, but it's not a necessity in the flatlands, unless one is planning to drive through an area where that would be handy.
