I'm not talking about one specific library, there are many such libraries
available in freeware, shareware and commercial forms, all of varying quality
and for varying target platforms. You'll have to search for them yourself and
choose which one suits your project best.
If it's for DOS + VGA/SVGA, you may want to check out a shareware library
called "The Graphics Engine", it uses loadable drivers so you can easily
extend your program's support for video modes.
