Delta Airlines has a hand to hand shiping method for animals. What I think 
they do is keep the pet in the passenger area of the plane. Not the cargo 
area where the animals get scared/stressed more easyly. You should call Delta 
Airlines and try to find out all the details and requirements. I beleive that 
a small pet carrier by itself is around $90 dollars. If you're flying and 
carrying the birds yourself its supposed to cost you around $50.
