Hi,
       I'm new at this, so patience!  I just happened to see Equus and began 
looking at everyone's messages.  I've been heavily involved with Arabs since 
1984, but currently have only 1, my 10-yr. old stallion, oh, and KC a good 
ol' quarterhorse gelding who just happens to be my stallion's stable/pasture 
buddy.  My experience was mainly showing, breeding, raising, training and 
some pleasure riding, but it became extremely expensive, which is how I wound 
up with the stallion and his buddy.  It was an incredible journey, and 
possibly if $$$'s were still available, I'd probably still be active. 
Currently, my stallion (Talko) and I (Dee) pleasure ride.  I'm getting ready 
to move to an area where I can bring the horses with me.  At this moment, I 
board, and, it is reasonable, but no one provides your horse with the love 
and care you do.  I am looking forward to having the opportunity of having 
them right behind me to enjoy.  My only regret is not being able to become 
involved at an early age vs. mid-life.  But I also am fortunate to have been 
able to have this involvement.
       It was a pleasant surprise to be able to have found people with 
similar interests.  I would be interested in sharing knowledge/stories with 
anyone.
