HI, ALL!
With the permission of the moderators of both the Crafting & S&Q
echoes, I would like to announce a new Christmas exchange!  If you're
like me, you appreciate the break from the monthly block exchanges at
Christmas but you *do* miss making those blocks each month - & the
breathless anticipation at the end of month to find out the next
winner - maybe you!  Well, here's a block exchange where EVERYBODY
wins!  Interested?
This is a one-time exchange: make & send out 4 Christmas quilt blocks
(see SPECIFICS) & receive the same in return.  (For anyone who
participated in the Christmas FFQE last year, here's a perfect
opportunity to share some of the pretties you received!)  You can
combine the blocks you receive to make a wallhanging, a lap quilt,
a decorative throw for a sofa or an armchair, a table-topper or even
4 Christmas pillows.
SPECIFICS:
- You must meet the eligibility requirements for the echo from which
you participate.  (If you are on a "delinquent" list for any exchange,
you may not be allowed to join this exchange.)
- From those interested, groups of 5 will be formed.  Each person in
the group will make & send out 4 quilt blocks.  In return, each person
should receive 4 quilt blocks.  You may join more than one group but
keep in mind that you will also be *making* more blocks for a 2nd or
even 3rd group.
- For uniformity, blocks should measure 12-1/2", UNFINISHED size.
Please use 100% cotton fabrics in Christmas colors or themes.  And
don't forget to SIGN YOUR BLOCK!  We want to treasure these lovelies &
want to remember our wonderful friends who sent them.
- Fill out out the information below & get it back to me by OCTOBER 25.
  Final lists will be posted as of OCTOBER 30.
  All blocks must be mailed out by NOVEMBER 30 - this gives everyone
   time to actually use their gifts for the holidays!  :)
